About Me
I've spent much of my career in software support, helping people solve computer problems and make technology work for them. This has included supporting applications in the financial, retail and services industries. Over the years, I've also developed a habit of figuring things out for myself — building, fixing, automating and improving systems simply because I enjoy solving problems.
My personal projects have taken me well beyond everyday computer support, into areas such as Windows services, networking, file systems, automation, scripting and managing large amounts of data. I've often become a one-person development team: designing an idea, writing the software, testing it, working through the problems and eventually putting the finished result into use.
That combination of professional support experience and hands-on problem solving is what I bring to the people I help. Whether the problem is simple or complicated, I enjoy figuring out what is actually needed and finding a practical way to get there.
